How DKIM Works

DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) adds a digital signature to emails. This signature allows the receiver to verify that an email was indeed "signed" by the owner of that domain and hasn't been altered in transit.

• Generate a Key Pair (Private/Public)
• Publish Public Key in DNS
• Sign Emails with Private Key

Key Strength

The security of DKIM depends on the key size. Larger keys are harder to crack but require more processing power.
